GlenAlan Bagpipes are made in Australia by Pipe Major Robert Pearce OAM to Henderson specifications (1932) from the highest quality materials.

All GlenAlan bagpipes and chanters are handcrafted with attention to details such as bore finish, reed seats, consistency of timber and external finishes.

GlenAlan African Blackwood bagpipes are custom made for you with your choice of bag and size, drone reeds and blowpipe length.  Just pick them up and play!

GlenAlan products come with a 12-month guarantee against faults in workmanship and materials.  A full back-up service for support and maintenance enables you to get the most from your GlenAlan Bagpipes.

Miniature Bagpipes

Sometimes called Reel Pipes, Smallpipes, Chamber Pipes or Parlour Pipes, miniature pipes have the same fingering and blowing technique but are a quiet, easy alternative to the Great Highland Bagpipe.

GlenAlan miniature pipes are made from Blackwood Substitute (Acetal) or native Australian hardwoods such as Myall, Gidgee or Lancewood which is plain turned and fitted with a custom made Ross synthetic leather bag, Ezeedrone drone reeds, cords and cover.

All ferrules, ring caps and projecting mounts are made from Alternative Ivory with the choice of traditionally shaped projecting mounts or "button" mounts.
